Personally I don't see the point, but then I never do a twilight check-in because I don't like to think of where my cases are overnight.
Having said that I did post my SEQ1 &2 for my current flight. i.e. first to check-in :D
As for belt and braces, I printed my boarding passes at home, then asked for the car boarding passes at check-in because they are easier to handle.

I always do OLCI to secure my pre-booked seats but never print off boarding passes as I prefer the more substantial version given at check in desks. I have never used twilight check in, I feel like Dicky D in that I like to know where my cases are & also like to be able to
pack previous days clothes & overnight stuff in my hold luggage.
