looks like it indeed.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

I'm flying DEN-ATL and only have 45 minutes to change onto VS104. Do you think I can ask at Delta's check in in Denver for the possible VS upgrade ?

Very unlikely I'm afraid. Furthermore an N fare is not upgradable with miles. Even assuming there's reward availability in PE or UC - which with those loads seems unlikely - you'd need to pay cash to change to the lowest upgradable fare bucket which on your flight looks to be an R. That will not be cheap.

And without wishing to worry you, 45 minutes is a dangerously tight connection - ATL is a vast airport and the VS104 will leave from a different concourse to the one your flight from DEN arrives at. Can you not switch to an earlier flight from DEN?

Adiing to what Gumshoe has already said, with only two seats currently left in PE and with a plethora of Delta elites who use VS out of ATL, I strongly suspect getting an upgrade might be difficult

Perhaps. DL have 9 DEN->ATL flights that day, and I've heard that they can be flexible on the day. I'd recommend showing up early and ask to get moved onto the one at 10:27am, that'll give you closer to 2 hours to connect which is far safer.

The worst case scenario though, is that for whatever reason you fail to connect in time they're obliged to put you on the next available flight. Ultimately LHR is your final destination and that's where they need to get you. Fortunately there are two DL flights heading to LHR later that evening, so it's not like you'd be stranded.

I'd also add that ATL has to be one of the best airports I've visited for fast gate to gate transfers , just use the 'plane train' that connects all the concourses and you're never more than around 15 mins away from your next gate even if needing to get from A to F :) You won't have to clear security either if arriving domestically.

Thanks all for your replies. I've double checked and I have 50 minutes actually, not that it would change a lot but eh ! :D
I will go with the flow and hopefully it will be fine.
I still need to post my outbound TRs, will do that at the earliest ;)
