i'm off to DXB in a few weeks, and just for a change the aircraft isn't a 333

i haven't flown UC on a 346 before, so would be interested in opinions on the best places to sit and what the plane is like

i'm currently in 3K out and back, it's in the snooze zone outbound, which suits me fine, is facing the rear of the D seats, and i'll have my drinks rest on right, is there any reason to switch elsewhere? i'll have checked baggage so i'm not fussed about being first off

i'm assuming it's going to be an old cabin with old facilities, but i'm not a great user of IFE, i tend to just put the moving map up and leave it there until landing, aside from that are there any upsides/downsides vs. the 333?

Anywhere in 2-5k or 9-11A are the best seats on the A346, both sets face the wall so more privacy and plenty far enough away from the bar for quietness.

Would agree with Neil, only point is it is rather close to the toilets, maybe 4 or 5K.

It may be a *refurbished* cabin with old facilities, and the less crowded feel of the 346 as compared to the 333 wins for me anytime over the small matter of having to use a handset rather than a touch screen.

Sat in 3k last week from LHR to SFO and was just fine, first time in UC on a 346and I am convinced that plane is quieter then the Dreamliner. Enjoy your flight, I found it hard not to :-D

And I was in 3K yesterday on the VS23. Toilet not close enough to be an issue. And with 2K empty it felt very private.
