I note that the PE H fare is now upgradable using Flyer Club Miles but the link on this website 'Ticket Fare Codes' in the 'Toolbox' states that it CANNOT be upgraded? Which is correct? And where do I easily find which fare codes are upgradeable using cash?
Many thanks.

If you book direct with Virgin Atlantic H is definitely upgradable using miles.

If you book with Virgin Holidays it used to be that they also issued H fare for PE bookings but these were a special subset of H called itinerary fares that couldn't be upgraded with miles. The current situation is unclear as we've had no reports of success or failure since the T&Cs changed.

All fares are upgradable with cash. You will find that although the fare bucket will change the newly upgraded ticket will still carry the restrictions of the fare it was originally purchased as. This allows you to buy an Economy ticket then later pay more to sit in Upper. The restrictions remain because otherwise you could buy the cheapest non-flexible fare, later realise you weren't going to fly, upgrade it to a flexible fare then cancel the whole thing for a full refund.

The link probably has not yet been updated by Pete, the site owner.

The upgrade table in Post#917417 is not the current table on the website which appears to require 50% more miles
ie Atlanta was 10,000 now 15,000.
I just upgraded LGW-UVF expecting to pay the usual 12500 miles but was charged 22500.
I'm trying to understand whether this is just another ploy or whether there really is any advantage to FC Members as Customer Relations claim.
