We are off to USA on the Western Roadburner Tour from San Francisco to Las Vegas. Booked this last August.
I have been keeping an eye on the forum's over the last few months and was starting to worry (a little) about Virgins reputation.
From booking the holiday to receiving the tickets never had such a smooth booking. E-mail queries answered quickly and telephone query on tickets (my stupidity) was answered very quickly.
Excellent so far - just the holiday to go now and hopefully (touch wood) everything should run smoothly.
My only gripe about virgin holidays - I am trying to book a 2 centre snow holiday for next February 07. Only problem.....the online booking for this isnt available yet, but some of the singles are. Rang virgin they can book it by telephone for me. Only problem with that is last night the online booking system was offering 10% off (normally 5%). With telephone bookings no extra discount available - even though I mentioned that it wasnt my fault they wernt loaded onto the online system yet. A little unfair I think! So I shall leave it for the time being until they are on (or I get a better deal elsewhere). Doesnt make sense to me as they run the risk of losing a repeat sale!!
