I have a UC booking for MAN to RSW via ATL using both Virgin and Delta metal, the seats are booked on both companies systems but Delta have made a minor change and now I can't access my booking on the Virgin website. Web chat with Virgin tells me to contact Delta and ask them to reissue the tickets, which I did. Yesterday I received a phone call from KLM/Air France effectively saying it should not be necessary so I sent them the web chat transcript, I am awaiting a reply. I had the same problem on my last trip on this route, tried to check in the night before from the airport hotel only to discover I could not find my booking on the website, Panic! Phone call to Virgin was of little help, only asking us to check in at the airport but allow extra time. The extra time was the best part of 40 minutes before the problem was "solved" telling us to contact Delta on arrival at Atlanta to make sure it was. Called in at a Delta lounge and asked the receptionist to confirm the flight, after a few minutes she told us to get some food and drink as it may take some time. Finally we were issued with new boarding passes and headed off to the gate. Being in First we were some of the first to board, it came as no surprise to us that the computer rejected our boarding passes much to the annoyance of not only us but the passengers of a full plane trying to board. We still had the original boarding passes so we offered them, still no help but finally, I suspect, the operator overrode the system and we were allowed on board.
