Enjoying the Clubhouse in Hong Kong. Great staff but not a patch seating wise on LHR. They are trialling a couple of new drinks in their Quinary menu.. Try the refreshing On The Meadow as an alternative to a Mojito. It is very nice.
Hope you enjoy working your way through the drinks menu & hope it's a smooth flight back to LHR !

Personally speaking, HKG is actually my favourite of the bunch.
The smaller CH space will be to blame for the lack of seating choice, sorry to hear if that was a massive detractor for you. My particular favourite is the balcony seating overlooking the terminal area.
Staff there are awesome and I do hope that you had a great visit despite the lack of seating choice

I also believe the HKG clubhouse is special, and plenty of space too in the clubhouse last night despite the fact the upper was full on the flight back to LHR.
Indeed, when working in China, my preference is to return from Hong Kong rather than Shanghai for the Clubhouse reason though the new shared lounge in PVG is a pleasant improvement from the past

Agree with the others here - all the VS staff in HKG are the best on the network.
I can confirm that the staff in the Clubhouse were exceptional and the service was top notch. The bartender even came over and shook my husband's hand and thanked him for trying the drink and was really pleased to know that he liked it.
Upper was full on the flight, despite showing about 5 seats in the middle being free on check in. On board, the service was very good again with a slight bit of turbulence meaning the two people at the bar at the beginning of the flight had to sit down.
Managed to get about 5 hours sleep and then enjoyed the IFE which worked well. The menu may have been new as it was handed out on a A4 sheet of paper and not the usual booklet. I only had a dessert as there was nothing that appealed but I had eaten in the Clubhouse so didn't really need anything . We had 5 and 6A and liked these seats opposite the wall in the centre and did note the 7a missing window.
One thing that surprised me was I thought it would be quieter than the 747 but really didn't find much difference. I understand the A380 is really quiet in comparison, but still have to fly it (I will do returning from DXB in 2 weeks though).

I used to be a fairly frequent visitor to the HK Clubhouse & always enjoyed it.
