Sat in the LHR clubhouse, first Buck's Fizz at my side, breakfast ordered, scalp massage booked :-)

Busy, but some Delta calls just made so that may quieten things.

Security was busier than my previous experiences, about 10 in front of us, but efficient and little delay.

Looking forward to a restful flight and some sunshine in Miami & the Keys.

Being ultra busy early mornings is now one of the perils these days :-(

Enjoy the Clubhouse and have a good flight

Oh nooooo! We have been delayed until 2 pm. There is to be an aircraft swap due to a technical issue.

Cocktails all round! I am trying a Lady V withEarl Grey infused gin :-P

I love delays ;-)

Happy days eh? A v-flyer rejoicing in a delay cos he can spend more time loafing in the lounge with cocktails! Hope you both have a great trip and that your flights are smooth and exactly as they should be.
Cheers

Hope the delay wasnt too painful :-) Hope you have a flight and enjoy the Sunshine state.
I think the humidity has eased a bit which makes life more relaxing.
Have a wonderful holiday.

Life doesn't get much better than a delay when you're in the LHR CH. A nice little EU261 I guess too. What a lovely start to your holiday. Have fun.

Never complain about a delay - I was diverted once on a return leg from Antigua to Gatwick due to a Drugs mule fitting over a bursting bag >-( added an extra 4 hours to flight, but I was in UC so didn't mind at all....

Only if the replacement aircraft is the same as the duff one...otherwise seating and travel class mayhem could follow....

Good morning from sunny South Beach (actually it is 5.30am and still dark but soon it will be).

Slept like a log.

Miami immigration was a *beep beep beepity beep* nightmare of hoards of tired and impatient passengers. Machine or no machine, you still have to join line after line to get through. Saying that we were in the taxi withing 55 minutes of touchdown.

The aircraft change was to the same type. Just under 2 hours late in total, not bad. The crew and service were extraordinarily good, even with the new service regime, whci I shall detail elsewhere.

Right, time to get dressed and breakfast early before starting the holiday proper. An easy day today on the beach and shopping along Lincoln Road.
