Hi. Does anyone know which exit doors they use on this plane|? Trying to work out where to sit to get a swift exit in Upper! Thanks!
Just door 2L was used on my last VS Dreamliner flights, both at LHR and at IAD.

Whats your destination?
if it's the US then with the expanded use of the automatic terminals has massively reduced the lengths of the queues so being first off is no longer as necessary as it used to be.
Huzzah for International Jet-setting !
Sadly they're not yet universal. Yes, looking at you LAX.
2L at LHR and JFK for me too. The crew mentioned they can't get the air bridge on 1L, unsure why.

Even if you are first off the aircraft, it is not the other UC passengers you need to race to immigration but the thousands of other passengers off other aircraft. It was a nightmare last week (and I think it was a quiet day as we were out at the taxi rank in an hour). Definately the worst airport arrivals experience I have encountered over the years, with a scrum for the self-service machines and then l-o-n-g lines to see an immgration officer.
Those who got the big X on their machine tickets had a much shorter queue and were through quicker.
Glad I chose Tampa for my next Florida arrivals airport!!

It is possible. Door 1 on the 787 is further forward than other Boeings so is closer to an external sensor (Angle Of Attack), increasing the change of staff damaging the sensor with the airbridge if they aren't accurate, so many airlines just rule out using it to avoid that risk.

And that's why I love this site! Good knowledge.
at MIA, when you exit the airbridge, get a buggy. If there are no buggies, wait for one. When you get one, you'll understand why

Contractor can you tell me how best to get a buggy. Should we book assistance with Virgin before we travel or are buggies easily available at MIA?
When you get off of the plane they are waiting there, at the end of the jetbridge to take people as far as they can.
we were u/c on the vs005 and sat on the a-side as it has the backs of the middle row so is a little more private. They used the 2nd doors, not the front ones, so we were in the first 12 or so off of the flight. Just walk up the jet bridge and they are there, literally blocking your way.

Can anyone get these buggies or are they really for those that need them?!
Thanks for the info Contractor. My wife is not disabled but the long walk at MIA is quite testing for her, from my memory of our last arrival there. I had considered booking for special assistance but if the buggies are so readily available that seems not to be necessary. Again thanks for the info!
