Just signed up for the session at Woburn, is anyone else going? :)

If I remember right there was at least one V-Flyer who went along last year. I'm not a total novice but haven't played in years so went with the beginners... does anyone know if they hire out clubs?

I went last year and had a really wonderful day.

As a total novice (and without any recognised golf handicap) I went along to a tutorial day last year. Along with many others, we were split into groups and had a go at driving, pitching and putting. Respective golf clubs were provided for each session and under the guidance of a pro tried our hand.

Those keen golfers who have a recognised golf handicap are paired up and with their own clubs have a full round of golf.

I emerged from the day confirming my fear that I have no aptitude for golf whatsoever, but still had a really fun day.

Would be quite up for it although I haven't played Golf in about 15 years and when I say to used to play, it was more driving the golf cart!

How do you sign up?

Buns - Thanks very much for the insight. I'm looking forward to it. Glad to hear they hand out clubs to the newbies as well.

Mike - I got an email through a few days ago! I assumed it went to all Au members. If you didn't get it let me know and I'll dig out the email address you need to contact :)

I just got my confirmation so see you there! I'm a complete novice (well apart from crazy golf - they're similar, right?)
