Hi, all. I am turning to the collective knowledge of V-flyer for suggestions on lounges in a few destinations.

My OH and I both have Priority Passes through AMEX and we are both AU with VS.

Trip 1: MAN to JFK via ATL in UC/First.
I understand that when travelling in business/first with DL when there is an international segment in the itinerary we get access to DL Sky Clubs. However, through PP there is also access to "The Club". I'm doing this trip on my own, so was considering trying The Club as we've been to the Sky Club in ATL and whilst it's perfectly adequate, I was curious about other offerings. Any thoughts on this?

On the return, I have the options of either the DL Sky Club at JFK T4, or the Wingtips lounge; the latter of which seems to garner generally favourable reviews.

Trip 2: LHR to PEK via HKG
We're in Y for the short flight HKG to PEK. I am 99% certain that we'll only have access to the Plaza Premium Lounge at HKG, but my OH wondered if we would be granted CH access due to AU status and flying with a partner airline. I think that's unlikely!

On the return there are four options in PEK! Air China First Class Lounge, Air China Business Class Lounge, BGS Premier Lounge and Business Travellers Lounge. Any recommendations as to which to opt for? We then have a longer layover with time in the CH in HKG :)

Thank you!!

Buns, thank you! I think I am entitled to access to the DL lounges on those flights anyway due to AU status and the international sector in the itinerary. However, I am doing a few domestic legs in Y with DL and didn't realise my Platinum AMEX allowed access to DL lounges. Is this true for UK issued AMEX cards? I can only find information about Priority Pass on the UK website. Thank you!

I have certainly used the Plat Amex Card - along with Mrs buns who is my supplementary card holder- in JFK, ATL and MCO when travelling on DL legs "independent" of a VS Transatlantic flight. Indeed, in JFK, our DL flight was a fews days later after arriving from Heathrow.

That is excellent information, thank you both! I am the supplementary card holder but it hopefully won'the be a problem. Thank you again, it seems like I will get lounge access when I didn't expect it on my Y flights :)
