New ANU terminal - Antigua - lounge access?

Hi there,

A few questions!

1.) Has anyone experienced the new airport terminal at ANU since it opened last year? We're hoping for a huge improvement on the previous incarnation!

2.) And more specifically, we are flying into ANU from LGW in a few weeks time on VS033 (in UC) and then have a 3 hour wait before connecting onto the VI Airlink flight direct to EIS (BVI). Does anyone know if we will be able to use the lounge during this wait? My concern is that we will technically have completed our UC flight and therefore won't be allowed in without paying...

3.) Has anyone used the VI Airlink service from ANU to EIS before? This will be our first time...after the 3-stop LIAT flight last year nearly caused my wife to have a panic attack (she's fine on the bigger aircraft but is terrified of small planes...particularly the take-off and landing).

Sadly can't answer your questions, but I'm in a similar position and would like to know one thing when you experience it. I'm interested in the return to ANU from EIS. It seems a little too close for comfort with the timings on VS. It arrives at 15:15 ish and the return flight to LGW is 16:45, right?

For our trip, I'm actually considering, gulp, BA!

15.05 is when the VI Airlink is supposed to arrive into ANU and yes VS departure is 16:45

I've spoken to Virgin and VI Airlink and they both seemed relaxed about it. Virgin said that the minimum connection time for Domestic to International at ANU is 90mins. On paper we have 100mins...

The VI Airlink service is designed to fit in with with BA and VS flights...so hopefully they know what they're doing.

We flew this route with BA last year (VS had no availability) and...never again! And also did the EIS-ANU with Liat and...also never again!
