Miles More Friends

How long does it take, after your 'friends' have taken their flight, for your earned miles for joining them to register on your account please?
So I know to look out for them - I don't want to miss out on 6K miles.

They seem to post at the same time as the miles for the flights post to your friends accounts.

I have had to follow mine up with a small reminder by twitter message.
