Make the most of it while it lasts. I fear that loophole may disappear when they eventually switch over to the Delta booking system.

After the Plane Talk email the other day I'd imagine M&M completely disappearing.

The claiming miles and TPs on M&M fares loophole has always been there. Was quite handy when they ran their promotion last year when you'd end up with £400 off an Upper fare. Combined with their sale at the time you could get east coast and Dubai for less than £1K return and still claim the miles and TPs!

great thanks, fingers crossed that works. yeah we snatched some UC in a sale plus the miles for £800, which i thought was decent.

I haven't posted on here yet but been doing a lot of reading!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the tip about the miles plus money loophole. Three of us just returned from an Upper MPM return flight so was able to bag just under 11000 miles each and 10 TP! I also got my referral bonus for referring one of them to Flying Club.

So thank you :)

Is it too late to try for this for flights taken in December '15? I've deleted all the flight details so how would I find the old booking reference?

Just go to the website and press 'claim missing miles.'

You'll only need your date of travel, booking reference and flight number. I'm sure you must have this on an email somewhere? If you don't have an email, did you add your boarding pass to your phone? If so, go to your 'Wallet,' find the boarding pass and then hit the little 'i' on the bottom right to retrieve your booking reference.

The only other thing I can think of is that if you paid via AMEX the reference will show on your statement.

Other than that, give them a call and see what they say. Maybe don't mention the loop hole though :)

Thanks for the help.

A quick phone call to VA and the miles are now sitting in all three of our accounts!
