Hi guys!

I have been waiting for reward seats from MIA - LHR for a couple of months now and some Upper availability popped up last night. It's the earlier flight on an A330 I want but happy not to travel in upper in the dreaded dream suite, would prefer Premium and save some miles.

Does anyone know when the A330 suites are being changed over to the better version as happy in that suite?

Thanks for your help :D

Personally I don't mind the UCDS, it's not a 747 but then what else is. If you have the A or K suites, they are 5 or 6 inches longer. That and Revivals would be enough to sway it for me.

Have to agree with Marshy11.

Whilst the A330 UC has its shortcomings, it would not stop me grabbing a bargain fare.

The A330s are unlikely to be changed out until towards the end of the year / early next year - I suspect VS are having problems with aircraft availability at the moment which probably explains the continued use of A340s.

So if it is a good fare, then go for it

I'm 5'3" and my OH is 5'10", and we have flown UC on the A330 on the A side and were perfectly comfortable. PE on the A330 is solid, too, but even as a big fan of the PE product, I'd still pick the UCDS in your position. YMMV, of course :)

As long as you try and avoid the middle seats, the A330 UC cabin isn't that bad.

Looks like that's what everyone is doing on my A333 flight to ORD next week:

I agree with the others. The A330 UC cabin is not my favourite but it's still a solid product with an A or K seat and I actually don't like the PE cabin on that a/c so it's a no brainer for me.
