Front row in PE

I thought the seats at the front of PE could only be booked at the airport on the day. I've seen some threads saying they can be booked online. Could someone please advise? Exit row seats and the 3 in the middle please?

Exit row and Bulkhead seats in PE are usually held from the usual available pre allocation. This is because a lot of them are bassinet positions for bookings with a baby or for pax who require special assistance. while that obviously doesn't apply to exit rows, with only 60% of seats made available for pre allocation they don't need to make them available and it gives them some good seats to be able to offer should a lax say have to be downgraded or some pax couldn't get sat together.

Thanks Neil - that's really helpful. We're planning to get to the airport fairly early so fingers crossed we may get lucky and be sat together.
