Just received this rather tempting offer. You have to register to qualify. Appears to apply to all VS routes to/from the US and CUN but no others. Also applies to DL's TATL routes to/from LHR, MAN & EDI. Doesn't say if you can claim for flights already booked but you've been able to with previous similar offers so fingers crossed.

"Register and book before 15 June to earn double miles and extra tier points.

Experience a summer like no other. Fly Upper Class or Premium Economy before 1 September 2016 and you’ll enjoy double miles and extra tier points with Virgin Atlantic or Delta.*

This means that flights to destinations such as JFK could earn you up to a massive 41,496 miles per round trip, instead of the normal 20,748, as well as an additional 2 tier points per sector when travelling in Premium Economy and an additional 3 per sector in Upper Class."

Was getting all excited when I got the email - but then the fine print indeed said effectively my UC round trip to MBJ starting in 10 days time won't qualify for the extra miles & TPs :-(

Registered anyway just in case I make some qualifying bookings later.

This literally couldn't have come at a better time. Other half will be on his way back from Chicago tomorrow just shy of 2 tier points to make Silver by end of July. I thought he would lose it, but with this (as long as his flight qualifies) he'll get 3 extra. Yippee!

I didn't get an e-mail, yet. Sadly we're flying to HKG next, and our July flight to Vegas is a miles booking, so we might be out of luck. How frustrating. It's a great offer.

Looking forward to getting this email; I tend to get them 12 hours after everyone else.

An UC return to the west coast in July will now put me on 39 rather than 33 tier points.

Easiest way to earn a tier point on the network nowadays?!

A short hop on DL domestic. LAX to OAK, SFO or SAN can be pretty cheap.

Just looking at a random date in July LAX-SFO is $130 return.

Had the email. Yippee, very interested, need those miles and tier points. Read further. What a b*gger, no really it is, asterisks to protect the delicate ones among you. We fly to Antigua just days after the qualifying period! ;-(

It's in "Z" class

Apparently it's not "J" class because we start in DUB and not LHR

Still, doing so has saved about £3K so I'm not complaining :D

Anyway, I've registered so who knows ;-)

Sadly we're flying to HKG next

Some nice PE prices with VS there in November at £726 (with E at what I thought was an incredible £311 for some November and December dates) still makes a visit tempting even though it's not a route covered by the promo (and that's after promo finishes anyway) ... I don't recall seeing the E price that low before (perhaps regulars on the route have) or was there a promo I missed?

Oh yay!! This means that my LHR - ORD - NYC - LHR in Z next month will get me 27,491 miles + 19 TPs for hubby and me each! I'm not complaining especially as we snapped those tickets up for less than £1k each

I have a very similar tale. Booked a DUB fare for July flying into SFO and out of LAS with a few VX flights too. Total cost of VS UC and VX First x 3 has come to a grand total of £1345. Not bad for 22 TPs and 42,372 miles. No idea how many miles I'll earn on VX.

Flying SFO -> SEA, SEA -> LAX and LAX -> LAS if anyone has any idea.

Pretty bad IT and UX from VS again - click through and even though I'm logged in to FC, have to complete a security form including last date of travel. Form submission then just says I've registered for it.
Email confirmation just says "
Congratulations on registering for our Flying Club offer! You’ll be receiving it very soon." - not very helpful, doesn't tell me if our next flight is included or not. Gah.

Whoo Hoo :-D

I saw the ^ in the T&C which quoted only J,C,D or I class without realising it was refering to the Limo service.

Only down side now is that the return flight is after 1st sept so I assume that leg will not qualify for the offer??

They included USA and Cancun but not Havana. *sadface* My flight next month doesn't qualify.

I've registered anyway just in case of irrops and a re-route via Atlanta. How sad is that?!

I filled in the form and clicked then got 'page not found' !

EDIT - worked using 'edge' browser rather than fire fox

Just a quick bump to this thread to say that the bonus miles and TPs (as well as the underlying miles and TPs) posted almost immediately after the LHR-JFK flight I took today, even though I registered for this promotion (mid-May) long after I'd bought the ticket (February). I hope everyone else gets similar results!
