So after a dreadful nights sleep at the Sheraton Skyline hubby and I are safely escounced in the wonderful Clubhouse. Breakfast consumed, Bramble delivered and treatment booked for 8.30 ;-)

I suppose there are worse ways to start the day :-D

Oh dear, is this a hotel to avoid or were you just unlucky?

Hope the CH experience lifts spirits back into happy road trip mode - enjoy!

I think a combination - we ended up in a double for single occupancy so a tad tight space wise, and found the bed too hard and the pillows too soft, unlike last time we stayed here in 2014 when we found the beds really nice. Hubby unfortunately has a cold so was unable to sleep so kept me awake!

Thank you all for your good wishes. It's now 4.55 pm and we're at the Holiday Inn Express at LAX so going to try to keep awake for another few hours :-O

It was a brilliant flight with an excellent crew led by a strong FSM. I did notice a few differences to last year (I missed my ice cream!) but otherwise the UC service did not suffer from the recent changes. There were still 3 of us at the bar till the seatbelt sign went on for landing!
