It was $299 but I figured for a four hour flight not too bad valueplus I should get two extra tier points out of it
Also to add, very impressed with the Delta app and the ability to track your luggage and that it has made it onto the plane!
Well it looks like my VS Gold has come in handy, currently i am the only person in the Comfort+ upgrade list for my DTW-DEN trip! Fingers crossed that it clears and I can get some extra legroom at no extra cost...
Just to update on the events over the weekend for anyone interested - for both of my DL legs this weekend (DTW - DEN and DEN - JFK) my Au status got me upgraded from Main Cabin to Comfort+ on both flights. On both occasions, curiously, I was the only person on the list!
It still posts the regular 1 TP.
It doesn't look like I was in the running for a First upgrade at all though.
It might not have been First but the extra few inches of legroom were very much welcomed on both flights!
Worth mentioning also that when dropping bags for both flights the Delta rep was unable to change my cabin class, even when requested as a cash upgrade. Though this was probably because they were tied to VS sectors which were married.

My question is related as I'm VS AU and will be flying Delta Domestic in November in economy. I was wondering whether as a VS AU we are eligible for a free same-day flight change (confirmed) or only a free same-day flight change (standby)?
Has anyone experienced this as a VS AU?
