I would be interested to hear this. We haven't been to ANU since the new terminal and new The Executive Lounge. The VCBird website does say "toilet and washroom facilities".

We were there in May this year.

Its no clubhouse...but SUCH an improvement on what came before. In fact the entire terminal is.

I don't recall seeing showers...but might be wrong.

It was clean, cool, airy with very attentive staff. The entrance is quite well hidden, which might account for the fact that it wasn't rammed even though the terminal was heaving when we were there.

We landed late from EIS on our return so the food offering was very minimal (non-existent really). If you're hungry head out and up to the other end of the terminal where there is a chap making really good pizza. I must admit we were in need of a slice or two on our inbound after spending rather too much time at the UC bar chatting to others!

Personally I would still try and keep connection time to a minimum. When we have a longish wait we tend to grab a cab and head to the nearest beach-bar for a few hours. But its a perfectly nice lounge to spend an hour or two.

We were there late afternoon last November.
Its quite large, light, airy and lots of comfortable seating.
There was a good selection of food:- sandwiches, lovely deserts, fruit and savoury snacks.
Staff severed tea, coffee etc. at your table.
A good selection of English newspapers were available.
I think I recall showers in the ladies cloakroom, which were spotlessly clean.
We had the added bonus of seeing Boris Becker in the lounge, he had his tennis racquet sling over his shoulder as he walked in . He had been playing in a tennis tournament on Necker Island. He was also on our VS flight home to Gatwick so I did get to speak to him and he autographed my menu, he was really charming.
