That's a fantastic tip Stuart, I'd never thought of that - many thanks! Just amending my upcoming booking now, £2.50 equivalent for a glass of champagne and guaranteed entry can't be bad!

Huh, that's new. Do you still get the FC discount?

Define "new"? It's been possible for at least 18 months.

I think you are confusing 2 methods of entry:
The Flying Club discount is on a paid reservation where you pay £20.25 and you are guaranteed a space at your chosen time.
The other way is to use a lounge membership card (Priority pass / Lounge Club / Dragonpass or similar). The problem with this is that the lounge can often be full if you just walk up so paying the small reservation fee or pre-ordering champagne guarantees you a space.

It's been around for the last year or so Joey. The problem was that many PP holders were continually being turned away due to the lounge being busy, so all No1 have done is create a booking page for PP and other pass holders (eg. Lounge Pass) that, for a fee of £5, guarantees entry regardless of how busy it is. No idea about FC discount, I would imagine that only applies for normal (cash) bookings.

New - adjective - produced, introduced or discovered recently or now for the first time; not existing before.

New info to me at least Stuart. Probably, but I also thought there was a blanket 10% discount across frequent flyer programmes (or was that a FlyingCo discount perhaps..)

Thanks for the info James, nice little way for the lounges to increase revenue and for card holders to guarantee entry.
