Booking advice on LHR-BOS

Hi, I am looking to book a round trip economy seat LHR-BOS at the end of this month. I have previously enjoyed the Clubhouse at LHR as I was a flying club Gold member but just reverted back to Silver. So now I have the following questions:

As a Skyteam Elite Plus member (KLM Gold) if I book with Delta & fly on Virgin metal both ways with a Delta flight number (DL4378 = VS11 & DL4379 = VS12) will I get clubhouse access at LHR outbound & BOS on the return leg?

AFAIK only Delta Skymiles elites are eligible in such circumstances. Skyteam status is not a qualification.

As VS is not a part of Sky Team whatever your status is with Sky Team is irrelevant

It is your status with DL that matters.

Thanks for your replies however if I book a Delta flight e.g. AMS to BOS then my KLM Skyteam Alite Plus membership gets me in the lounge in AMS & priority boarding??

If that status gets you those things on a Sky Team flight then yes.
