Is anyone else having issues with the Shops Away page through the VA site? I am finding that when going through the login page, it seems to reset itself and throws me back out. The site is also out of date with regards to the double miles thats advertised to end on the 16th August.

Hi Liam, I have found this too, that it throws me out after logging in. I found if i deleted cookies etc that it allows me to log in. Hope this helps!

I'm not getting that.
Something much weirder. I recently booked a hotel on Hotels.com, but didn't use Shops Away because I was using my Hotels.com rewards. However, there is a transaction of miles pending for almost 6k miles from Hotels.com on the date I made my booking. I know I didn't log in and click through, but just to be sure I checked click history, and as I thought my last click through to anywhere was on 4th August to Hilton.

How weird is that? There must be a rogue cookie on my iPad that's tracked the sale. We'll wait and see what happens.

Thanks all.

As mentioned by DanFlyer, it seems to be a problem with the cookies. Once I delete the browser history it allows me to go through the process. The toolbar is a little hit and miss too!

The only problem I have is the amount of miles you get form a purchase being totally random and not what you think it should be

Think yourself lucky; last time I ordered a substantial amount of wine via the Shops Away portal, for whatever reason, it did not register! I complained but was more or less told 'tough' can't find any reference to it - now I go via the BA portal, at least that always registers.
