Hi guys, just wondered if any of you knew which MCO-man flight got cancelled and if you knew which aircraft was supposed to operate it? Read on another forum it was because of a fault to a door and passengers were given flights home via Atlanta and Heathrow instead of direct alternatives?? We have friends flying home Friday and we use this flight regularly too so like to keep tabs on the ladies. TIA

I was on the VS76 on Monday from MCO to MAN operated by G-VBIG (I think it was, the one without a proper bar in upper) , firstly three passengers in upper were being shall we say boisterous so the crew didn't serve them alcohol upon boarding, they then helped themselves to champagne from the bar hence the FSM pulled them to one side and threatened to offload them. Then they discovered that L2 couldn't be set to automatic and called engineering and after hours trying the engineers in the end I believe permanently locked the door so it couldn't be opened and so they had to tape the affected floor lighting leading to the door and then due to the blocked door remove a block of people (something like rows 25-45) around the affected door. These were re-routed MCO-ATL-LHR and coached to MAN. Due to the crew very quickly running out of hours the pilot took the decision to keep their bags on the plane hence we departed 3:52 late and made up roughly 20 mins en-route.

Upon takeoff I went straight to sleep so wasn't aware of the other problem which occurred which related to the crew failing to keep the food below the agreed temperature which consequently mean't most of it couldn't be served. I only found this out when we were handed a letter upon leaving the plane offering us 6k miles each. What every the impact on the food thankfully it didn't impact the bacon sandwich
