As I am awaiting my return journey to book I was wondering can anyone remember if we are due another reward seat sale in the next month or so.

I know we had one in April.?

I'd love to know this too, I'm waiting to buy a few top up miles to be able to book a reward for Sep 2017, the 30% bonus on buying would be very handy!

I reckon sometime this month based on whats happened in the past and then the next one in the new year in Jan/Feb. For once I have my flights for next year all booked up so not looking for a sale....usually I am waiting on tenterhooks for one to be announced ;-)

just checked my emails..
2013 started on the 6th Sept
2014 last call on 22nd Sept (so would started around 2 weeks before? 8th?)
2015 started 9th Sept

There is also a cash sale around the same time as well.

I just booked reward seats to/from New York on Saturday (40th birthday treat for me :-D )! Outbound is UC, so wouldn't be affected, but the return from EWR is PE and I could have saved 16,500 miles by waiting two days. ;-(

That would have been useful as I'm left with very little wriggle room for reward seats to the US for next year (going for the eclipse in August). I have 183,000 miles left which is just enough for Delta One direct to Salt Lake City at 90,000 miles each (we've got a hotel booked for the eclipse in Idaho Falls). My fall back option is either Atlanta (80,000 each in UC) or Seattle (100,00 each in UC so now probably not possible) and an internal flight to SLC.

At least there's now the 30% mile booster bonus to consider.

Sod's law - just booked yesterday ... Had to buy a few miles as short for the UC return NYC - if I'd have waited till today.

Hey ho - still got UC for < £600 - so can't really complain :-D :-D

Just a query on Miles Transfer if anyone can help.

If you buy miles during the sale, you get a 30% bonus. But if you transfer or gift miles, it doesn't look like you get a bonus. Can someone confirm?

In a previous sale window I did do a transfer that did attract the 30% bonus, so I know this has been possible before.

Grateful if anyone can shed any light. Thanks! :D
