To my recollection, I don't think UC has ever been in a reward seat sale. The demand for these seats is so high, G's can be hard to come by at the best of times... So it's unlikely they will ever be further subsidised.

If you can, grab them whilst they're there!

Presumably you could see if you could work the Economy and Premium sale rates so that you could take advantage of those and then use the standard upgrade milestone costs if Gs were available?

Or will be Reward sale be into non upgradeable ticket classes?

That doesn't work. Even if you book Y or PE in the reward seat sale, you still have to use the full amount of miles for UC if you want to upgrade.
