We are going to Vegas in March. We already have Gs booked for us :D

For the last 5 days of the holiday we are flying 3 of our kids out to join us and then we all fly home together.

I have used miles to buy all the flights. One of the flights I have used my Amex voucher to upgrade to PE for my DD , both ways.

Now the sale is on, can I call them re-book and get some miles back. I'm thinking I will get charged the change fee of £60, so is it worth that fee to get some miles back ??

Thanks in advance x

How many miles are involved and what value do you put on them?

But be aware that when you cancel your existing reward tickets there is no guarantee that the seats will go straight back into the inventory so there is a chance you could lose them.

For my Boston trip, I paid, using miles for us both to go out Upper Class, but my best mate was going home from Boston a day before I went to New York.

A bit of tinkering with leave and permission from his OH later, and we were able to take advantage of the sale...so instead of 17500 for Y on the 12 hes now in PE on the 2 with me...however I am in Upper Class....

The agents had no issues with us swapping in effect a non sale miles fare for a sale one, but there were other changes involved including, Flight, Date and Class!
