In July I had a fabulous ex Dub routing taking in LAX and MCO due to the great advice from this forum. For 2017 I'm looking at travelling to LAS with a domestic flight to MCO but can't seem to find anything. I've looked at AMS, BRU etc but nothing is showing for VA. Ideally I'd like to travel out during the last week in July and return at the end of the first week in August. Am I doing something wrong?

I've tried ebookers, expedia and google flights.

Thanks for looking.

Are you selecting LGW for your return??

Is the LAS-MCO flight the same day as the DUB(LHR)LAS one? That might be causing the searches not to pick VS

Sorry I should have been clearer,

I'm aiming to do DUB - MAN and then overnight in MAN. MAN - LAS the following day and stay for around five days. I'll book a domestic flight down to MCO and then MCO to MAN after about 10 nights in Orlando. I'll do the MAN - DUB leg after an overnignt in MAN.

I can't pick up any flights with VA. I'm aiming to go out during the last week in July and come back the middle of August.

just had a quick play on google flights.

I really only get BA on that routing and that is DUB-LHR-MAN then back to LHR the next day for their LAS flight!

Aer Lingus do MAN-DUB but looking on their website flights for the middle of august aren't available yet so that could be an issue. (mind on the couple of dates I picked in July they aren't coming up anyway on google flights)

On the VS site it's not giving me any direct MAN-LAS flights anyway for July / August next year (well not the random mid week dates I put in) it's coming up with MAN-JFK or ATL and then a DL internal)

Could it be that the VS MAN-LAS flight isn't daily and you are searching for VS flights for a non operating dates?

Virgin only flies MAN - LAS three times a week and I've searched on those days. I think I might have to review our plans see what else is available. I've also tried for reward seats but so far with no luck.

There's outbound UC reward availability MAN-LAS on the 27th July but, as you say no inbound. Might be worth grabbing the outbound and just paying for the return leg?

The Expedia search I mentioned is outbound DUB-MAN-LAS, return MCO-LGW-DUB. The flight from MAN to LAS is the VS85 and appears in the search result Mon-Thu (24th-27th Jul). The VS flight on the return is the VS16 MCO to LGW. Still offering £1661 which is not bad at all (compared to £2487 for the same flights non ex EU)

Last week we booked UC from DUB->LAS and MCO->DUB for just over £1300 in July 17. As soon as we booked, all UC prices went to £1661 for the dates (all times).

After playing around with many options I managed to get a great price on DUB-MAN-MCO and the return leg of LAS-MAN-DUB. The total cost was £1341 each so I'm happy. We've got a 16 night trip so will do Orlando first and finish with about five nights in Vegas.

We've never been to Vegas so are really looking forward to this.

Thanks for all your help
