I am due to fly 1/11 LGW to BGI PE out and UC return the eticket and seating plan is for 747 LGW however the current aircraft operaing this route is exclusivly A330. How likely is this stuation to continue? My wife is getting a bit concerned about the seating reservations.

The seating plan shown in your MMB should be correct (subject, of course, to a late aircraft change).

You're flying just after the start of the new winter timetable, when aircraft allocations often change. BGI is a very busy route over the winter so tends to need a 747 to meet demand, whereas in the summer an A330 is sufficient and the 747 can be used to provide extra capacity to MCO.

As Gumshoe says, the planes used over winter are different tp those used in the summer months. I am flying out en Nov on a 747 and back in Dec on a A330. It depends on the day of the week and some days I noticed there are two flights back - a 747 and a A330. I assume one is double drop for St Lucia or Antigua etc
