I'm flying Virgin for the first time later this year. So far I have had 3 texts, each followed by an e mail telling me that the time of my return flight has been changed, we have gone from 30 mins early to 2 hours early and the latest is now 2 hours later then the original schedule. Can I keep expecting this to happen and with the non existent wifi and internet connections in Cuba how can I keep track of these changes once in Cuba itself - my trip is 17 days long and that's a fair bit of time to be 'off the grid'.

But I am flying Premium Economy..... :-)

Depending on where you are staying in Cuba internet and wifi is now more widely available. You should also still receive texts

When is your flight back? I'm on the 64 mid November and haven't had any notification of changes

Standard practice on all airlines unfortunately - AA and DL are notorious for it.

I assume your flight's on or after Oct 30th - that's when the new winter timetable starts and until then tweaks are always a possibility. Once it starts they're less likely.

My November outbound to BGI was changed by 2h 5min earlier. I didn't get any notification and only found out about it because I regularly check my seat assignment is still in place!

You said in your other thread that you booked with V Holidays. They are the ones who should be telling you and not VS.

That is standard industry practice.

So I am going on a family holiday in March flying into Miami. We are travelling a few days apart and my brothers tickets are booked through the travel agent and mine are reward seats so direct with Virgin. Over Christmas my brother mentioned a flight time change and that his travel agent had let him know. I checked my flight and it has also changed! Nothing from Virgin....!! In the past I have received a text message at least and I remember having to go onto website to accept the change IIRC.

What a shambles, I totally would not have known if it wasn't for my brother telling me!

Im more annoyed because its changed from a 1pm to 11:35am, which means a much earlier start from Herts to get to the CH, and less drinking time

I had a trip to NYC booked with VA.

I found out my flight time and aircraft had been changed by chance when I logged into the VA website to have a browse. I didn't get anything from Virgin Holidays to inform me, in fact I informed them.

So annoyed I cancelled and went elsewhere

My flight LHR-ATL-ORD keeps being changed. VS have yet to contact me about it, even though the connection time in ATL is now 19 minutes

I recently had timing changes for inbound and outbound on a package booked with VH and found out as VH emailed me

I had an email from VA, informing me that my return flight ( VS076) was amended from 1830 on 3rd October to 1830 on the 4th. There's no option to accept the change, only to cancel the flight. Will have to call them to check.

I just got my changed flight changed back. It was originally at 13;05 to Boston on Friday 18th of August. They appear to have retimed the flight in general forward 4 hours and 20 minutes, but the rebooker thing shifted me back a day. The guy on the phone said it was a glitch, so don't assume your original flight doesn't exist anymore. Try and book it, and see if it is still there...
