Reward flights in April

Desperately trying to get UC reward seats, or even at a push PE, to San Francisco for April 3rd, to join a cruise on 4th, but there are no flights in early April for San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas or even New York. Any idea why and do you think anything MIGHT pop up? I am becoming obsessed with checking.

The blackout is likely to be due to the Easter weekend. There's plenty of availability to Seattle, though that might be too far.

Easter is two weeks later - Easter Sunday in 16th April.


Most likely explanation is that the reward allocation has already been booked up.

If you go via Seattle there's a DL connection which gets you into SFO at 5.20pm. I'd say that's your best bet if you want peace of mind by booking now.

Otherwise you can wait and hope that Gs open up to SFO but of course there's no guarantee they will.
