When I checked in for the Shanghai flight today the agent said either the Shanghai or Hong Kong flight is now being operated by Delta?!

Anyone have any info on this or know if there is a way I can check?

I have my usual reserved seat on my boarding pass? Would a delta plane have the same numbers?

The agent is getting a little confused here.

VS look to be running another OLCI test on the Delta system and are asking all passengers to OLCI for today's VS206 flight using the Delta website instead of the VS website. It will still be VS metal.

From the VS homepage:

Online Check in - Flight VS206
13 October

Same Virgin flight, just a different way to check in online today.

To check in for this flight, please go to our partner airline, Delta's, website and use your Virgin Atlantic booking reference.

This is the second time VS have run such a test as they did a similar thing the other week for one of their New York flights.

VS must be nearly ready to finally switch over to the Delta system if they are now running live tests.

I think they've actually run a few more tests than a couple.

Won't be long I should imagine.
