Hi everyone this I my first post and in need of some advice.
My last trip in September has brought me 1 point short of moving up to silver.
I'm look for a way t gain that 1 tier point by 31st oct before 6 points drop off my total.
All ideas will be seriously considered.

Where are you based? If based in the US, the easiest way by far to earn quick (and relatively cheap) tier points is internal US flights either on Delta or Virgin America? Flights as low as $50 o/w can be found for a quick little boost.

If based in the UK (and no US travel plans pre Oct 31) tier point earning options are harder as there aren't the EU equivalent of the US domestic cheap flights which earn TPs.

I would seriously ask yourself is Silver worth it? The PE check in whilst flying Y benefit isn't that much of a time saver, and the 50% bonus miles (although nice to have), if you are only just flying enough to make scrape into silver, the money you'd spend to get that extra TP, could be spent on purchasing the equivalent miles...

Hmm quick hop somewhere on SAS Business Class? That's best I can come up with if you're UK/Europe based but also not really sure Silver status is worth the effort/expense of a TP run...

Also just had a thought there's a couple of European routes flown by Air China but again you'd have to be in Business Class to get a TP.

Singapore Airlines fly once a day from Manchester to Munich (then on to Singapore). That would earn 1 TP in economy.

However you've only got until October 29th to do it as the route is ending.

Apart from that there is no way of earning 1 TP on an ex-UK short haul flight in economy.
