One for the VS crew on here... or very regular passengers who speak to a lot of crew.

Just had a reply from Crawley Towers about my last trip to Orlando a month ago when the female crew member working in the UC cabin deserved a lot of praise - despite the crewing changes she worked her socks off & the service was pretty much as it was before the changes. (In fact, I preferred the slightly longer meal service the changes have made).

Crawley Towers ensured me my feedback had been passed onto the crew member & her line manager. Does anyone know if this actually happens?

Yes, it does. It should be passed on by the crew member's line manager. Although, as with any organisation, some are better than others at doing it.

I've fed back complimenting particular crew members on my two recent trips (LGW-ANU and JFK-LHR). Both times I had an email auto-reply but unlike previous feedback compliments, I've had no further response. Usually they've responded and said thank you, this will be passed on to [the relevant crew member]. Change of policy?

I've asked a call centre rep about this - specifically for call centre staff feedback. She mentioned that all feedback gets pooled together and read out in a monthly meeting. I assume it's a different practice for cabin crew.
