Recently I have been looking for U/C seats to MCO from Man for April. Up to now, they have been around the £3k mark each way, but today, I find a couple of different days at sub £1k, which is lower than PE price :-O . Date is around outbound 3rd April, return around 19th April.
Are these genuine, or likely to get cancelled if booked?

What exact dates are you seeing that fare?

Outbound on the 3rd, return on the 19th I'm seeing about £2,800 direct (or £1,800 if you connect in ATL on the return).

Coming back a day earlier the direct VS flights drop to about £2,000 return but certainly not sub-£1,000.

Are you sure you're not just looking at the outbound price which is £932 on the 5th?

I am not sure but I think the OP means sub £1k each way as she makes reference to them previously being "around the £3k mark each way".

Edited to add, now I am re reading your post to wonder if you meant you've found £1.7K each way the lowest?

Confused. I am.

Ah ok.

Well if the OP was seeing £3k plus EACH WAY that is truly eye-watering! Presumably a fully flexible J fare.

Out on the 5th back on the 18th is just shy of £1,850 return which isn't bad actually. £1,700-ish if you connect via ATL on the way back.

Hi All
Just to clarify.
Outbound 3rd April VS075 - Economy (£589.84), PE (£1049.34) and U/C (£932.34)
There are days around these with similar prices for U/C and even lower for 1 stop!!!!
Return on 17th April VS074 - Ecomomy (£496.90), PE (£1227.90) and U/C (£914.90)

£1,850 is a good but not outstanding UC return fare. I think I'd normally expect a Z fare to be somewhere around the £2,300 mark.

It's not at all uncommon for PE to cost more than UC if the cheapest PE buckets have sold out but the UC ones haven't.

I agree that at £1,850 return it is not outstanding, but I paid around the same in last New Year sale, and this is over the busy Easter period. Also, to re-iterate, the lowest and Flexible have been almost identical prices over the last 3-4 weeks when looking.
