I've got flights booked in May on VS metal to ATL then on to Key West with DL, all on a single PNR booked though VS with 932 eticket prefixes.

I can access the reservation on both DL & VS websites and apps by plugging in the VS PNR (the new one issued after website changes) although on DL it's own PNR then shows having successfully accessed it using VS's. My question centres on our etickets, there are two of us travelling:

My eticket number is the same for both the VS & DL flights and shows as such on both VS & DL sites/apps. However my partner's eticket shows the same number for both flights on the DL site (the next number in sequence to mine) but on the VS site, whilst still the same number for both flights, it's a very different eticket number from DL's - although still with 932 (VS issued) prefix.

Is all OK or could there be a ticketing issue - does anyone know? I specifically booked a "though ticket" so we'd be protected in the event of one leg of journey being delayed.

All advice appreciated :)

Had exactly the same situation on my recent trip to MCO. Had a direct flight out but a through ticket back via ATL.

After reading some scary comments on V Flyer on the run up to our return, I was a little apprehensive, but as it turns out I was offerd to check in on line by Delta 24 hours before my DL flight to ATL and this booked Mrs B and myself all the way back to LHR :-D So a grreat result as I was checked in for the ATL - LHR Leg some 27 hours before the event.

Thanks Buns. Were your eticket numbers common across both flights and both MMB's - DL & VS? I may be worrying over nothing but it strikes me as odd that a person's eticket shows one number on VS MMB and another one on DL's, for the identical flights?

Just checked - two slightly different etickets numbers (but same preface of 932) on DL and VS. The VS number was 14 digits whwereas the DL only 13. I has two different locators too for the same flights. When I turned up at MCO, they just took names and found the booking and after checking passports and bags we were on our way

I am sure things will be fine
