Hi All,

My card usually dumps in my points around the 12/13th of the month. With the website upgrade this hasn't happened (so far) this month. Too early to raise it, or should I leave it a few days?

Anybody else received theirs around , or since the upgrade?

Mine don't post till the end off the month, but I e-mailed them straight away with my new flying club number on Monday, they replied on Tuesday saying they had changed it on my account. Linda

May or may not be related, but there's a message on the AmEx MR page stating their transfer to Flying Club will be unavailable until Nov 18th.

I've just come off the phone with FC (only a 5 minute queue too!) as hubby's miles due on the 15th hadn't credited. Apparently they can see them as pending and have advised waiting a couple more days ...... :-(

Just rang Virgin Atlantic - told shops away not yet linked on new system and don't know when this will be done and that any credit cards miles for this month will not be posted unless you had provided mbna with your new account number prior to your statement being issued. Advised to call MBNA.
Called MBNA who asked for my new number and told me my 15000 miles on this month's statement will only be sent to Virgin next month with the miles earned on my next statement. He stated that Virgin had not informed them that account numbers were being changed and they were now being inundated with calls re missing miles.

I guess we can probably use the secure messaging service on MBNA bankcardservices to let them know new number. Thanks for the tip Linda!

I've just checked, and in the US, Bank of America's VS credit cards have had their FC numbers automatically updated.

VS had said they had updated MBNA and there was no need for customers to contact them

I just phoned MBNA and they already had my new FC number so I guess some have been done automatically

I have just chatted with MBNA on line.
Miles should appear within 7 working days of the credit card statement date.
So in my case statement was 10th I should get them by 21st at latest. If not call back.

Also they are fully aware of the change in flying club numbers and no action required on my part.

Ditto from hubby's call with MBNA this morning - were due on 15th, advised to chase on 24th if not received by then.

I phoned last week and have since had a direct reply from Virgin - The email states that although a new number is now in use, their systems will take into account your old number for adding your MBNA miles - this may take longer than usual to update. As above you can just call mbna and they will update them straight away for you.

Shops away miles are the same - no longer linked but are manually transferring miles across - note this is undertaken by virgin staff and with the obvious back log will take some time - I have had one transaction added per day from my old shops away account

Hope this helps :-D

Regards
Matt

I sent a secure message to mbna on Friday regarding missing miles from my Virgin black card which were due to be credited on the 10th November, had a response on Saturday morning, they had my new membership number and said that my missing miles will be credited with my current month. So I should expect two months of miles on the 10th December, hopefully ;-)

They responded yesterday and said the miles would appear by the end of business on 23rd.
They haven't.
Another message sent.

Thank you for that Vegascrazy.
Got a similar thing in my message today.
It started with Mr Foulger, sorry to hear of your problem. Who the F is Mr Foulger?
and ended with contact Flying Club direct.
I think I'll just wait until others say they have arrived.
