Saw an A330 with the big WiFi box on the fuselage. Anyone know what aircraft already have these? All the B787s and what A330?
The long-term plan is for all the remaining VS fleet to get WiFi installed.
Initially, only 3 A330 had WiFi installed (G-VINE, G-VGEM, G-VLUV). I've no idea if that has changed since though sorry?
The A346's and LGW/MAN B744's are also in the process of getting WiFi installed. At the last count G-VBIG, G-VXLG, G-VROS as well as G-VFIT & G-VFIZ have it installed.
I flew on G-VFIT in August and whilst WiFi was installed, it wasn't enabled yet as apparently VS where still waiting for CAA approval to use it on the A346 & B744 aircraft, no idea if this is still the case though sorry?
