Hi all, I am driving to Heathrow for a flight this weekend. When i booked my flight the adviser suggested that I could use the UC wing entrance at Heathrow as there was an arrangement with Purple Parking which I subsequently booked. I have just found the email out from Purple Parking and think it is a bit confusing - has anyone used this and if so, how did it work for you?

not sure what your question is.

If you have booked the appropriate PP option then they will meet you at the wing.

If not then they won't do what they used to do and meet you at T3 and drive you through the wing so you leave the car with them at the usual drop off point and you have to use the regular UC check in desks.

You have to book the special PP package with them to use the UC wing. If you have done this then you just go through the UC wing barriers and there will be a PP agent at the top who will take your car for you.
It is normally quite a bit more (in May it was another £85) on top of the standard purple parking meet and greet package so we just did the standard one and walked the 5mins to the normal check in.

Thank you all. I did not think the price difference was massive - I think I have paid just over £100 for 8 days, and they will meet me at the UC drop off and then bring the car back to me on Christmas morning! I have only been through the UC wing once at Heathrow on a flight to Jo'burg. My usual flights are to Vegas from Gatwick. I could not remember there being anywhere to park near the UC entrance, but I think that is because I arrived there in a limo so possibly wasn't paying attention!!
