Good morning from the LHR Clubhouse! (As a Delta flyer...)

Shock and horror! An outsider!

Haha. Quite looking forward to this trip as I have been meaning to try the Delta One offering for quite some time. I will be sure to document it and provide a TR.

Firmly settled into the clubhouse, something I wasn't expecting until the DL switch to T3. Slightly shaky start, checkin took a while due to queues and slight weirdness with my booking following a cancellation but that's all straightened out. Clubhouse is still undergoing it's makeover but it's being handled discreetly by the looks of things.

I was originally sat in the restaurant area however the waiter couldn't manage a smile so I have moved, and now awaiting breakfast after being served by a far friendlier face!

Haircut all booked in for 45 minutes time. Wishing all of you a great start to the Christmas holidays, whatever your plans are!

i'll be there in three weeks, torn between VS or trying DL, ended up staying with UC, will be interesting to hear how DL compares

enjoy the CH and your DL flight. I have absolutely no issues with flying on DL and actually prefer the seat!

Have a Vesper Martini for me. You have to ask specially for it as it's not on the general menu.

Thank you everyone, despite the hiccup earlier service has been excellent. About 20th minutes to go for before boarding, just enjoying a mince pie and a mulled wine at the bar. Cheers
