Hi all

My grandmother has sadly passed away and it is possible that the funeral might be whilst I am away in 2 weeks time.

I booked two single UC reward flights to/frm DXB back when the fee was 40k miles + taxes.

Will Flying Club let me move these flights to new dates at the "old" rate or am I now stuck?

I do have travel insurance through work I can look into but was rather hoping Flying Club might help me out.

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks.

Firstly sorry to hear about your loss, not a good start to 2017.

From personal experience Virgin Atlantic were very helpful when we had a family death and my son had to delay his flights to Orlando. They changed all his arrangements and waived any charges. First class customer care.

Suggest you ring the FC and speak to an Agent asap.

yes, call FC right away

a couple of years ago i had reward flights arranged for UC to BOM, but with about ten days to go we had to change due to mrs s. having to go into hospital following an injury, i called FC and they were very flexible, they also waived the normal charges
