Virgin and multiple reward tickets

Does anyone know with all the recent changes to flying club, is it still possible for me to get tickets one way from Manchester to San Fran for myself and my son using my Miles, and my son to get return tickets from New York to Manchester using his Miles? Obviously a big difference in Miles for east and west coast and given our respective totals that's the only way it would work for us - if it's allowed.

You'd have to do it as two separate bookings I think, unless one or both of you are Flying Club Gold in which case you can pool miles in a household account.

Otherwise you book the outbound using your account; he books the return using his account.
