It's just a small thing really... but I VS doesn't seem to recognise that there are people who actually live in places they don't fly to.

When I had my mailing address in US at one time, I received lovely tid-bits at times, (remember the chocolates?), and little memos here and there. But once the address is switched to Canada - zilch.

I do wish VS would consider at least return to Canada. Okay - their ill-fated YYZ service was because of bad timing - it was just after 9/11 and YYZ has so many flights to UK anyway. Why not try say YVR?

AC / BA only has one flight a day.. and usually these flights are packed year round.

Anyway.. my peeve.

Welcome to V-Flyer, Guy.

Like you, I hope VS resume their flights to YYZ. It is often rumoured to be going to happen, but nothing for sure as yet.

If you have a skim through V-Flyer, you will see a couple of threads about cutbacks. I don't think it is JUST because you changed your email address, though - as Honey Lamb (who lives in Ireland) will testify - borders can do strange things to your FC perks and online privileges..[?]

Apart from cross border issues. It has been well documented that there seems to have been a cut back in the number of gold card events, for example.

Hope you enjoy the site.

Came into this topic thinking it was something entirely different. Those three words conjure up fear in the back of my mind that AC have cancelled my flight again... [:(]

But yes, it's a fact - if VS competed on ANY of AC's routes, they'd clean up. No comparison between the two products.

How true! [:(] Aer John and I both had birthdays within the last two weeks and we haven't received the 2,100 miles birthday bonus [:#][:(]

An update: I had called the Premier Team at the end of last week and it was explained to me about receiving the birthday card etc. The suggestion was that it had been delayed because of the Christmas mail even though it was over two weeks since Aer John's birthday and over a week since mine. I just checked my account right now (and got Aer John to do the same with his) and found that the 2100 miles had been deposited there today. [^] Thank you VS and the Premier Team [y]

Mind you, I didn't get the birthday card and for the first time in my 21+VAT years I didn't get a single birthday card [:#]

Good grief, I can't believe that. I posted it (along with your present) in loads of time and everything. The Post Office really is a disgrace. I am quite disgusted.

Either way, hope you had a happy birthday[:X]

Totally agree, VS need to make a return to Canada. My sister flew Ba [:#]to YYZ in July, the flight was oversold and she was offered almost £200 to off load, needless to say she took it, flew the next day and got upgraded. Which is all good and well if you have not got a dead line.
