LGW/BGI FEB 2019- NO Premium seats !!!!!

Just tried to book my next years trip and after 5th Feb there seems to be not one P/E seat available for the whole month.Anybody know why?

VS are using some A330-200s that don't have a PE cabin on some routes.

Yes knew about A330 as going on one in June but thought they would be configured with P/E by the end of 2018.Big sales to be lost Feb/March if no P/E

Guessing they will get refitted one at a time, probably a bit early to be able to know which routes they will be on first if they aren't completed by then

We can only hope there are some good UC deals as Y is not an option for us long haul.

BA PE is not so great but I guess they will benefit in the short term.

VS are selling MAN>JFK Z fares from the end of Dec 2018 through to the end of Feb 2019 for ~£1504 return. Needs to be a Thursday departure to get the lowest fare.

No Premium Economy on sale still though even though A/C is showing as an A333.

Eek Z fares in a 19 seat UC Cabin, that doesn't look great on loads.

there are always Z fares for sale - nothing unusual at all about that. Most people don't need a more expensive changeable / refundable fare.

More confused now.747 flights not showing premium now although still selling upper.Cant be stripping out premium on them surely !

Likely due to a possible set swap with an A332. Easier to not sell Premium at the moment than offer it then have the drama of getting customers moved. Cynical part of me thinks they’ll be going all guns filling Economy Delight as an alternative to still ensure an up sell and if Prem is available they’ll offer super cheap upgrades on the day and proactive via online Check In
