Hi everyone, first time poster looking for some help please :)

We (me, my husband and our almost 2 year old!) are flying MAN - MCO 30th October this year and I’ve pre-booked our seats.

I’ve selected row 37 seats A, B and C. I’m just wondering if anyone knows whether these are decent seats? Has a window, isn’t overlooking the wing?

Thank you!

Also to add to this, when on the Seatguru site, you should see a reviews box to the right hand side once you have found the aircraft you are on, you can search to see if anyone has done a review on your chosen seat. If you are tech savvy, rather than scrolling down the full list you can do your search a little quicker by using Ctrl+F to bring up a little search box in the top right of your screen, then when this is open if you type in the seat number (For yourself 37A) it will automatically try to find that exact phrase if it is anywhere on the page at all. If you need any help with that bit, one you know the aircraft type, I could try to find it for you if you like!

In fact, having done a dummy booking for that date, it looks likely to be the 744 route so if I'm right with what you've selected so far it looks to be the back row of the first section of the main deck economy cabin. If this is correct there is only one report for seat 37A which reads as follows: "we had seats 37 a and b, seats were great because we had nobody kicking the seat behind and reclined just like everyone elses seat. although the is a silver box on the floor of seat 37a which restricted foot space." This was from November 2016.

Might be worth noting that it does look quite likely that you'll be pretty much directly in line with the middle of the wing, looking at the seat map for the 744 on Seatguru (https://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Virgin_Atlantic_Airways/Virgin_Atlantic_Airways_B747-400_LGW-1.php) however every time I've been on this in Economy myself, I've been upstairs so can't really comment on how well aligned the seat map is.

Hope that helps!
