“ We highly recommend you DO NOT call the airline or travel agent under any circumstances.” ???

Thanks for the heads up on this!

Just booked Delta One LHR-FLL returns via JFK for January 2019 at £820 each! Insane price! Booked with TravelUp and - although I’ve got the Delta/Virgin booking reference number and can access manage my booking and select my seats - I haven’t got the eticket yet and the ticket number field is blank ... keeping my fingers crossed it’s legit and won’t be cancelled?

Likely because they think this is a 'mistake fare' that an airline can just cancel and refund you on the basis that no reasonable person would expect to fly in that cabin for that amount of money and calling about it would alert the airline to the mistake and they would pull it.

I'm not saying this is a 'mistake fare' just that it could be.

Looking at one of the travel blogs it does have some restrictions such as must be booked 6 months in advance, very limited dates and mid week flights.

Just booked to Phoenix here for £875 return here via ATL in Delta One/Upper Class as I want to visit the Grand Canyon again. It's DL metal LHR>ATL and VS metal ATL>LHR in Feb 2019.

I ended up booking via Netflights as I was a bit concerned about some of the companies that came up via that holidaypirates site which I'd never heard of.

An e-ticket number is now also showing in my VS booking as well now which took about an hour.

Just booked via VS (with a few tech issues) out to FLL in March via ATL and back via DTW.

£1878 for two of us. All on Delta flights, First and One.

No idea what we've let ourselves in for, but it must be better than a wet 9 days in Cornwall in March.

Edit - we booked this whilst in the Hilton lounge, ready for our BA First tomorrow.

On the Hilton note - I have to say the rooms are vastly different than the last time we stayed, much better, huge improvement on the tired sad old exec rooms of old.

If anyone is still trying to grab these fares which are still around, you need to select a Thursday as your departure date. It doesn't seem to work for any other departure day.

Is that the LGW Hilton? I’m just trying to decide which LHR Hilton to use next year the night before our trip.

I was reminiscing about our Delta One experience today. It wasn’t UC, (spirits from miniatures) but it didn’t put me off doing it again at the right price...

This is because if it was an error fare, contacting the airline interrupts the auto ticketing and it did very much look like an error fare.

DL One is excellent.
Some of the best food I have had in the air, although the staff don't provide that quirky BA/VS fun.

I loved my stay at the new Moxy at Heathrow.

Hilton Garden Inn is also decent.

Yes, LGW Hilton.

What a great nights sleep. The room was cool and so quiet. Everything is in white or beige, the carpet has gone and there is a huge open feel with a very large desk area - great for charging all the paraphernalia, to the left of the shot. There is a very comfy chaise at the foot of the bed too. The room feels twice as large as it did previously. I really wan't looking forward to staying.

I have to say I'm impressed - we only booked to make sure mr marshy keeps his status for next year.

The lounge was a little improved - better food. We had chicken, salad, falafels, olives, crisps, cheese/bics and cold meats.

Not the best pic but gives you an idea.....

We like the Hilton Garden Inn and had it booked until we realised we needed a few more stays on his account to retain status and the prices were almost identical. I am shocked at the improvements to the Hilton as I didn't realise they were/had refurbed and it's very impressive.
