VS App Skymiles Glitch or Design?

I was looking at my VS app today and checking in on my hardware for the next few weeks. Whilst loading I noticed one of the screens saying 'dont leave your SkyMiles behind' then it disappeared. Is it lazy coding, a common feature that I can't find or something more towards FC and SM merging?

The VS app is identical to the Delta one, just reskinned. I would place my bets on sloppy app development.

The VS app still doesn't have all the same functionality though as the DL app - checked baggage tracking for example.

I've noticed that VS have greatly improved things though especially recently. When you now book VS flights via Delta (often a bit cheaper), you can now select seats using the VS app / VS website and they seem to have ironed out the issues with DL fare codes.

I'm on an A and G Delta Premium Economy fare (on VS metal in Premium) and when I originally booked it, both the VS app and VS website could not cope at all with selecting seats in the Premium cabin with those fares codes. VS on Twitter ended up selecting seats for me as I couldn't do it myself either via VS or DL!

It now works perfectly both via the app and the website.
