3rd daily LHR-LAX to stay?

Morning everyone.

Just doing a bit of perusing and I've noticed that VS still seem to be running the 3rd daily service to LAX during summer next year. I thought LAX was dropping back to 2 daily to make way for the new 2nd daily to BOS?

Can anyone who is clued in shed some light?

I thought it was going and being replaced by the new LHR-LAS service ?

Seems odd, as I too throught the 3rd LAX flight was going? What with that and the new MAN>LAX flight starting in 2019 meaning up to 4 daily services if it’s correct!?

LAX-LHR was apparently the 3rd most popular route last year according to the US DOT!

Every single time I have booked that route in the last year or so, specifically on VS metal, its always been busy. Rarely getting K or H buckets in PE unless booking more than 6 months out.
