I've just done a dummy booking from MCO - MAN following a road trip and cannot see any bookable seats in PE (upper and/or lower decks) for May 19. Now I find it very difficult to believe that all seats are booked, particularly as the website let me get as far as the payment screen. Any ideas what's going on?

We're also experiencing this, for some clients flights in PE to Grenada for May'19, whereby the seat maps are showing no available seats. We've been told by VAA to keep trying on a regular basis.

It used to be, and maybe still is the case that on LGW and MAN flights a block of seats is reserved for Virgin Holidays and is unavailable to select.

Historically, any seats not needed by VH were released back into the general pool a few days before departure so keep checking MMB in case a load of good seats suddenly appear.

Don't think this is so in this case. Firstly, I have encountered the problem on flights in May/Jun next year, when every seat, in all classes, is unavailable for selection. I know this having dummy bookings. Secondly, having contacted them, I was advised by VS that the problems were being caused by an 'IT glitch' that would be fixed in 'a couple of days'. This was 10 days ago. Now I fully appreciate that all of us at some stage or another can experience a computer screw up but it really is irritating for this still to be happening over a week from the date by which VS assured it would be fixed.

Not sure if it's the same issue but I have a reward booking in PE From NY on Heathrow h next May and have been unable to reserve our seats.

Again, a similar issue here after a flight schedule change, I lost the ability to select seats on any of my DL flight legs in 2 of my bookings, even the original seat selection disappeared. Delta had to do something at their end to sort it out in the end.

I do admire your optimism, 747Rich. As I stated in my post above, I was informed by VS almost 14 days ago that the IT problem should be fixed in 'a couple of days'. :roll:
