Does anyone know if there are any plans to allow PP meet & greet from the DTCI again? Or any plans to allow other providers in?

I have a flight with a friend coming up in a couple of weeks and I'd like him to be able to get the full experience. The alternative is to drop him off then go by myself to park in short stay...not sure I fancy that option though!

If M&G is definitely off, perhaps someone has another suggestion for parking and then getting into the DTCI - preferably without him wondering WTF is wrong with me! ;-)

As yet there are no plans to offer a valet service to park your car at DTCI, I used it the other day driving my own car, I dropped everyone and the bags off. We checked in and were given boarding cards, then I drove out and dropped the car with LHR own valet parking, right on the forecourt.

I walked back through the terminal up the lift and through private security, only took a few extra minutes, and I met everyone else in duty free. They were only a minute ahead of me.

Any taxi company will work for dropping you off, even Uber but that's not what the OP was asking.

OP wants to arrive in their own car and have one of the valet parking services collect it from DTCI rather than having to drive out of the wing and around to the front of the terminal. Purple Parking used to do this directly for no extra charge, Virgin changed this a few years ago so that you had to book through them at an inflated price then Purple Parking stopped offering it altogether.

I have no idea why they stopped doing this. Yes, it was more expensive than the normal meet and greet, but it was such a great service.

Purple parking went bust which is why the service stopped, another company stepped in and took over their bookings already in place but didn’t want the DTCI.
